Okay, thinking poetry that is not regular? Thinking about some fresh verse to get you thinking, smiling and just going like: ‘IF this is POETRY, I’m all for POETRY!!’ Okay, here’s a chance to be there at the official public presentation of my first collected poems: BRING OUR CASKET HOME: Tales one shouldn’t tell

CUT THE STORY SHORT, tentatively this is what we are looking at:
DATE: Saturday June 8th 2013
VENUE: Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.
TIME: 12 noon (World Standard Time)

The collection encloses the experiences that is life culminating to final moments. Beneath it all rings a strong song of hope. You would find the writings different – inspired by different times. The poems all come together to form these – a casket of verse in tales one shouldn’t tell….

in the pitch of our enduring night
we raise hopes to the light
in vigils believing the promise of the sun:
there would always be dawn.
